When you give a girl her last semester the first thing she will do is laugh. Because it is honestly unreal that she is already at a turning point in her life.
Once she is done laughing, she'll probably start to cry. While it will most likely be due to a lack of plan for her post-graduate life, it is really because she's wishing she could go back and do it all over again.
Once she's done crying, she'll take a look around. In that moment she'll be reminded by not only the beauty of her school but of her friends as well.
Once she's looked around, she'll take a walk. She'll visit her friends in their rooms and remember all of the places that they have laughed and lived.
Once she's done with her walk, she'll call her mom. Moms always know what to say or do, especially when we don't.
Once she's called her mom, she'll finish her grad school and job applications so she can at least pretend she has a plan.
Once she's done with those, she'll call her friends. They will go to the liquor store and stock up on tequila and wine.
Once they have been to the liquor store, they'll start to get ready. They will waste time laughing and drinking and then rush to get ready.
Once they are ready, they will go to their favorite bar because campus is not the only place that feels like home.
Once they are at their favorite bar, they will drink too much, dance too much, and sing too off key until they are ushered out the door.
Once they leave, they will go to Taco Bell because there is nothing better at 2 am.
Once they go to Taco Bell, they will go home. They will laugh even more, eat even more, and all end up on the couch together.
Once they are all together, they will realize they have to cherish every minute this semester is going to give them because there really is nothing better.
Then they will laugh and do it all again.
