The idea of living at Disney World is an experience only children could dream of. But now, you can definitely live at Disney World... But it'll cost at least 2 million dollars.
Located roughly ten minutes away from the front entrance of Magic Kingdom sits Golden Oak, the first ever, and currently only, residency at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
Golden Oak is just like any other housing development, except for you know, the fact that it is within Disney World’s borders, which means it comes completely with a ton of perfect Disney cliches. Remember how magical your last vacation to Disney was? Yeah, now imagine living like that every single day of the year.
Here's how it works: first, you have to buy a plot of land on the Golden Oaks property, then you have to pick a style of home you'd like to live in, which ranges from a Mediterranean village home, a Tuscan/Southern Classical/French Country/Spanish Revival/Venetian/Italianate/Dutch Colonial/Island Colonial Estate, or a Grand Estate.
From there, a team builds your dream home and you move in and live happily ever after, probably. Or better yet, you will live happily ever after, since on-site there’s a concierge team to take care of all your needs, along with recreation areas and a residents-only clubhouse.
Also, I forgot to mention, Disney also throws in free admission to Disney World for three full years so you can take all of you fellow Disney friends
Now the part you've been waiting for, here are some pics of the beautiful residency:
With that, may all of your dreams come true, and let us all save up around 2 million dollars, and I promise you can all move into my Golden Oaks House once I'm famous.
