You Can Find Me…

Choking on coke,

fizz bubbling between wide cheeks,

spraying popcorn across red cushioned seats,

interrupting the silence with hahas and hehees!

Craving ice-cream and a little cereal,

laughing up until midnight and after,

breathless jokes flying up to the rafters,

and then she said, it was like, down on the corner…!

Watching stars fly by at 40, 50, 60mph

riding waves to surf alongside a moon

chill wind blasting to make them swoon

lifting up with high notes like a balloon!

At the end of the day,

all we could say,

was that it’s a hell of a ride

being college centered and bound.
