You Can

It’s interesting

The fact that my

Acquired learning

Only now comes into play

Why now


Before would have

Benefitted for my future

Gotten me to a higher place

But I guess it wasn’t meant

That way


I had to go through

The pain to get to the light

And even though

It’s still present

I know I’ll be okay


With grace and confidence

Look at me now

Standing tall over towers

Remember when I was weak?

I’m ready to run


I can take you down

With a single puff of air

Won’t let anyone in my path

Won’t stop till the end


I’m not exactly arrogant

Nor am I naïve

People think what they want

But I believe in myself


I strive to be great

And I become even better

I achieve every goal

I’ve ever tried to acquire


You can’t go to the top

Without starting at the bottom

My message is out

Hoping everyone gets me


Look yourself in the mirror

And be honest

You know you can do this

You just need to believe


You are strong and powerful

Graceful and intelligent

You just need a little push

So here it is, go for it

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
