You Are Worthy, Of Everything

I am enough. I am whole. I am worthy.

You Are Worthy, Of Everything

In the generation and time that we live in, filled with social media, standards, and the need to be perfect, it is easy to lose the idea of feeling like you are worth something. I also know that this is one of the thousands of articles that exist that explain to you, the reader, why you are worth something, worth anything.

I have read those articles over and over again, but you can't force yourself to change how you feel. I have learned that it has to come from inside of you. It doesn't matter if you read one article or fifty, your mindset will not change unless you want it to.

Unless you allow it to.

This is a challenging lesson that many individuals do not understand, but you know when you are ready. So with that, here are a few reminders that I need, and maybe you do too.

You are worthy of good.

Good health, good people, good experiences, good memories, good feelings, good conversation. Life is good, and you are worthy of a good life.

You are worthy of kindness.

It is easy to forget just how many wonderful people surround you. How many people support you. How many people you can put your trust in. How many people want to see you achieve the impossible.

You are worthy of beauty.

Easier said than done, I know. This doesn't mean you have to feel beautiful today, or tomorrow, or two weeks from now. Beauty will be waiting for you when you are ready.

You are worthy of comfort.

Life doesn't always have to be go, go, go. You are worthy of being comfortable. Comfortable in your own skin, in the people you surround yourself with, in everyday existence. Breathe in the moments of comfort; appreciate the ease it brings you.

You are worthy of intelligence, of learning, of success, of prosperity.

No one should ever be allowed to degrade someone else's intelligence. Having intelligence is one of the most beautiful and empowering characteristics an individual can have. The world is always changing, always moving, the minute you stop learning, you have stopped living. Similarly, with great intelligence comes great success, so keep working hard, the prosperity will come.

You are worthy of finding your passions.

We are only given one life to live, and spending it doing something you dislike isn't worth it. Passion is oxygen for the soul. Passion can make the impossible happen. A life fueled by passion is a life well lived. A life filled with passion is a life that is worth living.

You are worthy of confidence.

I was recently told that confidence is one of the sexiest characteristics a person can have. While it takes a lot to fully feel confidence, it is one of the most powerful feelings to experience. And the more you experience it, the more it continues.

You are worthy of life.

Always. You are always worthy of life. Not every day may feel like it, we all have our ups and downs. But a life is always worth living, absolutely always.

You are worthy of love. So much of it.

My biggest lesson to learn. It can be hard to have so much love for other individuals, that you forget about yourself. You are worth finding, you are worth knowing. You and all your one million layers. You are worthy of all the love in the world. All of it.

If I have learned one thing in my lifetime, it is that friends are a privilege. No one is required to give you their company and yet there is some sort of shared connection that keeps you together. And from that friendship, you may even find yourself lucky enough to have a few more friends, thus forming a group. Here are just a few signs that prove your current friend group is the ultimate friend group.

When it comes to television, there’s very few sets of on-screen siblings that a lot of us can relate to. Only those who have grown up with siblings knows what it feels like to fight, prank, and love a sibling. Ross and Monica Geller were definitely overbearing and overshared some things through the series of "Friends," but they captured perfectly what real siblings feel in real life. Some of their antics were funny, some were a little weird but all of them are completely relatable to brothers and sisters everywhere.

1. The Legacy.

Her sister was a member, her mom was a member, all of her aunts were members, and her grandma was a member. She has been waiting her whole life to wear these letters and cried hysterically on bid day. Although she can act entitled at times, you can bet she is one of the most enthusiastic sisters.

Every kid in college and/or high school dreams of summer the moment they walk through the door on the first day back in September. It becomes harder and harder to focus in classes and while doing assignments as the days get closer.
