You Are Worth More Than You Will Ever Know

We don't even give ourselves a chance to exist out of the realms of media because we are constantly comparing ourselves to everything we see.

It is hard to fully understand what you are worth to someone else.

Sometimes you feel as if you may be everything and more, while other times you feel as if you are nothing but a body taking up space.

It takes a lot to be comfortable with who you are, whether that be to others or to yourself, it is a difficult process-

it takes a lot of work

it takes a lot of patience

it takes a lot of love

and acceptance.

You are your own unique and beautiful individual.

You create the aura that surrounds you; your aura tempting those eyes that previously overlooked you.

You create the energies that are released and vanquish any pride, greed, or hate that may exist within you.

Do not strive to be someone you are not meant to be.

With each characteristic you have in common with someone else, teach yourself to grow with that experience and to become humble with others passions.

It is easy to submerge yourself into the bodies of those you see on any form of media, but becoming envious of those who have what you may not is our biggest flaw.

We put down our worth based on something we see, read, or hear.

We don't even give ourselves a chance to exist out of the realms of media because we are constantly comparing ourselves to everything we see.

Understand you are special without someone else having to tell you that you are.

Realize that you are universally loved without someone else having to tell you that it is true.

You exist in a Universe full of unanswered questions and mysteries that have yet to be unveiled-

and you are the only you (to my knowledge, but thats a different article) that exists.

You are worth more than you will ever know.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
