Only shopaholics know that shopping is a real hobby. Shopping is the best past time and theres nothing we would rather do than shop to our hearts content. So heres how you can tell if you truly are a shopaholic or if you just enjoy shopping.

1. You spend most of your time looking up things to buy on the internet.

You are constantly scrolling through the vast array of items being sold at your favorite stores. You like to be the first to scope out all the new hot items at your favorite shop. Most people are stuck scrolling through their social media feed while you are scrolling through online store websites.

2. You have lots of things in your closet that still have a tag on them.

You shop so much you probably have a bunch of items that are unworn or unused and still have tags on them. Still, you seem to buy more things! It's never ending, and you can not have more than enough clothes, shoes, purses, watches, whatever your heart desires!

3. You buy things you do not really need.

Theres a huge difference between things you really need and things you want. Most of the time, if you are a shopaholic, you spend your earnings on things you want. You could totally live without most of the things you purchase, but do you really want to? No. Life is better with all the things you want!

4. Emotions drive your spending habits.

When you're happy, you shop. When you're sad, you shop. When you get mad, you shop. Whatever emotion you are feeling, it most likely leads to you wanting to go make a sweet purchase.

5. Spending gives you an adrenaline rush.

You feel so alive when you buy something you really want. Especially when its a big purchase you have been saving up for or if you get a really good deal on an item you have been eyeing for a long time.

6. Some days you just get the urge to buy something.

Sometimes you just cant help but really want to go out and make a purchase. Something inside of you makes you feel like you need to buy something, anything, even if its something super small and cheap.

7. You always have something sitting in your checkout cart.

Anytime you go to your favorite store's website, you can bet there is probably something already sitting in your cart waiting for checkout.

8. You constantly track your packages.

It is like a strange addiction. You are always checking your phone to see if your tracking number reads delivered yet or you are checking how far your package is from being delivered to your door.

9. When one package arrives, you start waiting for another.

Once a package is delivered, you know it's time to start waiting for another or if there is no other package to wait for it's time to buy something so you have a package to await.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
