You Are Raping Me By Voting For Donald Trump
New York Times

People I know, that I am related to, am friends with, and work with, are considering voting for Donald Trump. I simply don't understand how they can look me in the eyes and say that they believe he will be fit for President. Imagine the things he says about women...being said about your wife, daughter, sister, girlfriend, neighbor, or classmate. All of these women are people, the ones you know and the ones you don't. Imagine every woman in this country fearing for her safety.

Imagine him saying "I'd just kiss her, I won't even wait," about ME.

Imagine him saying "I'm a star, she'll let me do it, I can do anything," about ME.

Imagine him saying "I'll just grab her by the pussy," about ME.

Are you uncomfortable yet? At the thought of a man thinking and acting upon those thoughts about a girl that you know, love, and see every day? He has said these things (and worse) to and about other people's loved ones. You shouldn't have to think of women as related to you to feel terrified for them and for the state of this country. How do you think these women feel? Scared to death? I do. And you should too.

You want this man to be the President of the United States? You're just as disgusting as he is, because by voting for him, you are saying that it is okay to speak that way about women. You are saying that it's okay for men to look at me and yell things about my body and what they'd do to it. You are saying that it's okay for a man who "wants me" to do whatever he can to attain me. You are saying that it's okay for me to be degraded, harassed, assaulted, and raped.

When you vote in November, I hope you look at the ballot and see your loved ones, I hope you see women as people. When you see Secretary Clinton's name, see your daughters living and thriving. When you see Donald's, see your daughters cowering in fear in an alleyway from a man who wants to abuse them. It's not a dark alleyway in the middle of the night. It's daylight. And you walk by and see it happening, but you keep walking and don't do a damn thing.

That's what you're doing by voting for Donald Trump.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
