Not pretty enough. Not smart enough. Not good enough. Not athletic enough. These are a few lies that many people grow up believing. Whether you used to play a sport simply for fun, but stopped because you were told you weren't good enough or maybe believed you weren't smart enough because you didn't get into your dream school, don't let these lies keep you from living a life you love.
Comparison is such an easy trap to get stuck in and feed into, but it leaves you feeling inadequate or not _____ enough as someone else. People often say, "stop worrying about what others think." But it's easier said than done. It isn't something a person can just snap their fingers and get over.
This is for everyone out there who feels they are not good enough. This is someone reaching out to tell you that you are enough. 100 times enough. You are capable of doing anything plus more that you set your mind to. You are capable of love. You are worth more than you know and you are deeply loved.
People on this earth will let us down. They will upset us, disappoint us, or leave us feeling neglected. This is why it is so important that we love ourselves. Believe in yourself and your worth. Not only this, but also believe that there is a God who loves you so deeply you can't even fully comprehend it. A God who created the earth, all of the people, animals, mountains, and stars, yet still, knows every detail about you and loves you endlessly.
Rather than allowing friends or family define your worth, remind yourself that you are in charge of your worth and you have so much worth in God. People will leave you feeling left out or not good enough, but God reminds us that we are enough.
You are more than enough.
