You are better than him

You are better than him

That guy you've been stuck on since the 8th grade, you are better than him. That guy you threw yourself at every chance you got, you are better than him. The boy you couldn't get over, because he was the first one that loved you after what happened, you are better than him. That guy you've been through hell and back with, you are better than him.

He is not the only guy that will love you. You say "if spent a year with him, we have history". He will not be the only guy to love you. You cannot hang on to someone just because of history! It won't feel like it at first. You'll feel hurt, lost, alone, and like you have made the worse choice of your life. You will feel incomplete. But I can promise you whether you're listening to "i hate u, i love u" by gnash or "A little bit stronger" by Sara Evans..it will go away. Let yourself have those feelings and don't push them away, let them out.

"You have to love yourself before anyone else will". My mother used to tell me that. She would say, "if you can't love yourself, how can anyone else?" This is real life. No prince is going to come crashing in and save you from your dark demons. Because lets be honest, your darkest demons are yourself. Embrace yourself. Love yourself for every goofy, silly, dramatic thing you do EMBRACE IT!!

He doesn't care about you. It's sad I know. You care about him so much, but you are just convenient to him. You've threaten to leave him, but you both know how totally empty that threat is and you would never. Every chance you try, however, he comes sweeping in. Saying sorry and promising change, but how long until you are right back to the way before. Leave, he will be fine and you will be 100x better, and yes it will take awhile to feel that way.

Stop posting so he will see it. Every girl can see right through your plan and you are making a fool of yourself. Don't make yourself look anymore stupid than he already did. Move on. Stay off soical media for awhile. Don't stalk him, or any of the girls he is with. Live your life without him.

You are better than him. You are strong and if you're strong enough to let him walk all over you and still come, why wouldn't you be strong enough to live for yourself? You don't have to stay will him. You don't have to impress him. Live for you, impress yourself. Love yourself!!

"It doesn't happen over night, but you turn around and months gone by and you realize you haven't cried" ~ Sara Evans.

Christmas Tree
History.com

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
