I have attended church for as long as I can remember and consider myself to be a Christian.
In Sunday School, it was implied that we shouldn't get tattoos or extreme piercings. Verses were cited and our teachers highly encouraged us to think before doing such an act.

But I have always struggled with the idea.
How can one (or one million) tattoos make someone bad?
Are all of their good actions invalid?
Can they not be committed to Christ and have ink on their skin?
I believe that it is not my job as a Christian to judge others.
If someone wants to get a meaningful (or meaningless) tattoo, I don't see how that interferes with their commitment to their faith.
