With Donald Trump running in the 2016 Presidential election, it makes perfect sense for another celebrity to add himself to the ballot, and who better than Yeezus himself, Kanye West. During his VMA acceptance speech for the Vanguard award, West announced his 2020 run for the presidency. There are so many reasons why Kanye would make a fantastic president:

1. He has won 21 Grammy's. Has any other president ever done that? I think not.

2. He is married to none other than Kim Kardashian. Can you imagine Kim standing next to Kanye as he takes the presidential oath? There would be selfies for days. With Kim's love of social media, she would give the Americans a look into the life of the president and first lady. Plus, who doesn't want more Kim in their lives?

3. There is no one Kanye loves more than Kanye. If he can put that much passion into loving himself, imagine all the love he would give to the country. We would be so patriotic, other countries would be jealous.

4. With his incredible way with words, it is a guarantee that Kanye's speeches would be unforgettable. If someone says something that he doesn't like, he's not afraid to hop up onstage and grab the microphone to voice his opinion. (We all remember the Taylor Swift incident at the 2009 VMA's right?) If Kanye has something to say, he'll say it.

5. The U.S. would probably get a few more national holidays added to the calendar. Wouldn't it be great if we could take the day off from school to celebrate National Kanye Day or Kim's birthday?

6. He's friends with Beyonce and Jay-Z. Everyone knows that Bey and Jay rule the world, but if they can tolerate Kanye enough to call him a friend, he must be alright.

7. He would make some "updates" to the White House. Kanye has his own sense of style that he could apply to his new home. There could be pictures of himself, Kim, and North all around to show how much he loves his family. He could add a recording studio so he could perform his presidential duties while also recording his next album. Plus, he would probably rename the White House to the West House; a much cooler name.

8. He's multi-talented. Kanye is a rapper, singer, producer, and fashion designer. His ability to have multiple careers at once shows what a great multi-tasker he is, a skill that is essential for any president to have.

With all of his qualifications, there is no one better to lead our country than Kanye West. Kanye is the future. When November of 2020 rolls around, you'll know who to vote for.
