With summer approaching, there will soon be a lot to do. From travelling and beach days to ice cream runs and camping, it will sure be a good season to remember. However, what is noteworthy about this summer is the lineup of movies to look forward to. With the premiere of trailers that immediately hype the viewer to think, “Man, I have to see that movie.” Here is a look at five movies that seem like prime picks to purchase a movie ticket for:
"It Comes at Night" (June 9th)
While the world is going through a bleak and unknown apocalypse, a household takes in a family of desperate runaways. As they come to terms with the rules there is a rule that they must never leave their home at night. This rule along with the dangers of the apocalypse getting closer in. This film is produced by A24, the same studio that brought the Academy Award winner, "Moonlight."
"Despicable Me 3" (June 30th)
Former villain turned hero Gru (Steve Carrell) must stop a former 80s star, Balthazar Bratt, from stealing a precious diamond. In order to stop him, Gru must team up with his long lost twin brother, Dru for a final heist, and steal back the diamond that Balthazar Bratt took. Hysterically funny if you liked the first two films in the series.

The first war epic that is directed by Christopher Nolan ("The Dark Knight" trilogy, "Inception"). Dunkirk tells the true historical story of the Dunkirk evacuation of allied soldiers from the advancing and relentless German army.With feature length trailers being shown over a year before its expected release, there is definitely a lot of hype behind this film.
"The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger" (August 4th)
Based off of Stephen King’s bestselling series, the first volume of "The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger" tells the story of a child who fantasizes of a mystic land, only to find out that it does exist. Approached by a protector who is known as the ‘Gunslinger,’ the boy joins him to unravel the secrets and protect the Dark Tower, the pillar which connects the Gunslinger’s world to Earth.
