Senior Year: A Year Full Of Lasts
Columbia College

It's hard to believe that senior year of college has finally rolled around. It is a year full of last and last firsts...Almost everything you do turns into you thinking about how this is it. You have your last first day of fall semester and then your last first day of spring semester. Your last fall break, Christmas break, Thanksgiving Break and Spring Break. It is hard to believe after so long the end of school is near.

It is time to make the most of everything. Here are 5 quotes to get you through senior year!

"Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined." -Henry Thoreau

It is important when entering and finishing senior year that you decide what you want with life. Once you find something that makes you happy and you are excited about doing, you must go after it. It is also important to be confident and keep your head held high. Don't let anyone stop you and live your life how you want to.

"It's been one blur of fun." -Lilly Pulitzer

College flies by and it's fun! Lilly says it best! It just a huge blur, but all that matters is that it was fun and you made the most of it! Since college goes by so fast it is important to take it all in, but especially during your final year. Take in all of the lasts and last firsts and soak it up.

"One day, you will wake up and there won't be any more time to do the things you've always wanted. Do it now." -Paulo Coelho

Being a senior in college makes you think about all of the stuff you want to do while you are still in college and makes you think about all of the stuff you wish you had done. So go do it while you still can! Go check things off the college bucket list and don't graduate with any regrets or wishing you had done that one thing. Don't let anyone hold you back (unless it could truly harm you). Make sure you graduate knowing you had the full college experience.

"What feels like the end is often the beginning."

Yes, it is the end of college, but it is also the beginning of a new chapter. Don't just let it feel like it is the end. Just because college ends doesn't mean the friendships or the fun ends. It's the beginning of building your life and putting into practice what college taught you (and I am not referring to drinking games lol). Be happy that you made it through and were successful, but don't just say, "blah it's over." Think about how college has prepared you and been extremely fun, but now you are ready to show the real world who is boss!

"This moment will be just another story someday."

The moments that you have from college and especially in your year of last and last first will be just a story and a memory one day. Take in the memory and mental images and hold on to those feelings because soon it'll just be a story. Live it up and take it in! Take tons and tons of videos and pictures!

So yeah, you are graduating and moving on, but this time in your life is so much fun and so important. Take in the memories, good times and lessons. Because your new beginning is coming soon. HAPPY SENIOR YEAR!

If I have learned one thing in my lifetime, it is that friends are a privilege. No one is required to give you their company and yet there is some sort of shared connection that keeps you together. And from that friendship, you may even find yourself lucky enough to have a few more friends, thus forming a group. Here are just a few signs that prove your current friend group is the ultimate friend group.

When it comes to television, there’s very few sets of on-screen siblings that a lot of us can relate to. Only those who have grown up with siblings knows what it feels like to fight, prank, and love a sibling. Ross and Monica Geller were definitely overbearing and overshared some things through the series of "Friends," but they captured perfectly what real siblings feel in real life. Some of their antics were funny, some were a little weird but all of them are completely relatable to brothers and sisters everywhere.

1. The Legacy.

Her sister was a member, her mom was a member, all of her aunts were members, and her grandma was a member. She has been waiting her whole life to wear these letters and cried hysterically on bid day. Although she can act entitled at times, you can bet she is one of the most enthusiastic sisters.
