Everybody that knows baseball knows who the New York Yankees are, and even if you don't know baseball you've probably heard of the Yankees.
After the Yankees won the World Series in 2009, they started what seemed like a rebuilding time. With the breakout years from two baby bombers and a couple trades this postseason this could be the long-awaited return of the evil empire. In last year's run at the World Series title, the Yankees ended with wins in the wildcard along with an ALDS victory defeating the runner-up from the world series the year before.
With the year showing what rookie sensation Aaron Judge can do, along with Gary Sanchez still crushing home runs like he usually does, but was limited with an injury. Now with opening day just a couple days away, the future of this year is looking bright. Along with the two baby bombers, the Yankees added some veterans with acquiring Giancarlo Stanton and Neil Walker to put into the batting order.
With veterans like these in the lineup mentoring the baby bombers the sky is the limit. Not only will batting average and on base percentage go up, but also homers will go up and monstrous ones at that. Stanton and Judge led all of baseball last year in home runs with both of them having some of the longest home runs as well. This will bring lots of fans into the Yankee stadium to watch a show and even get a baseball souvenir.
These are only some of the players that affect the lineup.
So come March 29 watch for some bombs being hit in the Yankee Stadium and maybe even watch the Bronx Bombers play.
