College Life as Told by Blair Waldorf

Has anyone every realized that Gossip Girl perfectly describes Greek life and college? Blair Waldorf is, basically, the ultimate Greek woman. She is independent, strong, loving and very proud of who she is. The only difference is that she often says the things we wish we had the nerve to say. In case you haven't watched the series through four complete times, here are some of my favorite Blair moments.

Remember that day when people were telling you that they saw that eye roll you made during chapter? Or, that you were really rude when you didn't reply to whomever's text within 20 minutes, yesterday?

You come home from a Saturday afternoon of shopping downtown with your sisters and you only feel one emotion.

You try to explain why you are majoring in textiles and apparel management, or something along those lines, and you wish you would have come up with this masterpiece of a line.

You have studied and practiced really hard for something and you succeed -- and people tell you not to be cocky about it but all you are feeling is...

There is that moment when you realize that a formal date just is not going to happen this year.

Because you would rather go stag then take someone who doesn't appreciate you.

Why is it so hard to find a decent guy? I mean we aren't asking for the world.

Our expectations in life are high. And not just with boys.

Yet, at the end of the day, Blair knew the real meaning of friendship and sisterhood. She might have been feisty, but she was a true friend. She was the friend we all want and want to be.

Thanks, girl, for showing us that we aren't the only ones with these crazy thoughts. Oh, yeah, and thanks for being one of the best fictional characters there ever was. We all wish you could have been in our chapter.

XOXO

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
