Writing an article on writing is definitely awkward, but the gift of writing is one that everyone should take advantage of. You don't even have to think you are a good writer in order to write. Writing can help you relieve stress and just get your thoughts out.

It's a good idea to keep a notebook or some sort of paper and pen near you. This way you can always write down your thoughts whenever and where ever you want. Although, at times this can be difficult, so you can always jot down some notes in your phone since technology seems to be taking over.

For me personally, writing has allowed me to understand my life and myself. It has helped me organize everything I am thinking about at the time and it has helped me find a deeper meaning in experiences.

I'm sure most people think this is just a silly cheesy idea, but it's worth a shot. Getting your ideas and thoughts out is a huge relief clears all the clutter that your mind is dealing with. This is so your mind doesn't act a place for "storage", but more of a place where you can analyze information. You should store your thoughts on paper or on the Notes app on your phone. This is helpful also so you don't forget any information. You can simply write down a reminder to stop at the grocery store and get milk before you get home. If you write it down then there is a more likely chance you won't forget.

In the end, writing is helpful for current thoughts, emotions, and problems. For those who don't write things down often enough, it's worth a try. You will feel much less stressed and more relevied.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?
