In The United States of America, you would expect that the comical presidential campaign for 2017 is our final act of disgrace. However, since 2014, food has begun to be mass produced in 3-Dminensional printers, solely for convenience and healthier consumption. What?! Let’s take a few more bites of this topic for knowledge’s sake!
These 3-Dimensional printers work by loading ingredients into capsules, which consecutively filter out into layers on the printer’s platform. The goal is for Americans to specifically prepare their meal from scratch. That is, loading these food capsules with healthy ingredients, allowing us to become more conscious of what we digest. Foods can be created in various shapes, sizes, and colors, attracting a high number of interested consumers.
Are there any positive aspects of this 3-Dimensional printer? Foods that contain high nutritional value but are difficult to consume when of older age, can be produced with the printer, allowing consumption to be an easier process. Industries that primarily focus on producing Confectionary for their customers are relying heavily on these printers for precision and personalization of their treats.
What about cooking on a stove? Time consumption is relatively similar, and a person can just as well use natural ingredients to prepare their healthy meals. Does the grating of cheese and the slicing of vegetables really decrease our energy level? I don’t believe so. How about the gel-like substance that our “daily” foods are created by? Our stomachs wouldn’t be able to observe the printing process, rather digest the food made by various gooey substances which are healthy, of course.
It is claimed to be healthier than our accustomed style of cooking. Agree or disagree?
