Words are everywhere. They give us directions in the form of road signs, they share ideas with us, and they help us remember what we need from the grocery store. But sometimes you need a break from words because there just aren't any words to describe your thoughts. You may have a profound idea that you wish to share, or you may feel that you are confused by your thoughts, and trying to describe such thoughts with words only brings greater confusion. I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.
