In a society where the newest social norm has become to belittle others for their beliefs, looks, or even the way the outfits they wear; I have found it important to remind others that you are more
You are more than that final grade you made.
You are more than that boy who broke your heart.
You are more than that number on the scale.
You are more than the words that your "best friend" said behind your back.
You are more than that subtweet on Twitter, or the likes you get on Instagram.
You are more than that mistake you made last year, last month, or even yesterday.
You are more than the price tag on your clothes.
You are more than the makeup you put each morning because you think you look bad without it.
You are more than the thoughts that consume your mind.
You are more than that drunken snapchat you sent to that guy in hopes he would notice you.
You are more than what the world tells you to believe about yourself.
You are more than your daily struggles.
You are more than just beautiful.
You are more than just funny.
You are more than your title at your work place.
You are than a friend, sister, brother, wife, husband, or cousin.
You are so much more.
You are worth so much more than you believe. As the new Alessia Cara song states, "And you don't have to change a thing The word could change its heart." Let the world change the way it views other before you begin to conform to the world. The world is always going to judge you. People are always going to say things, and criticize you. But please remember you are worth so much more than you believe. You are more.
