The world is packed with beautiful places and well-kept secrets. Certain cities and destinations have gained mass exposure and popularity, but there are many amazing places beyond these that often are not acknowledged. Here's a list of 10 of these generally unknown gems:

1. Hinatuan Enchanted River

A river on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. The river is called enchanted because of the unusual colors, the legends of the spirits that dwell there and the way it appears to flow from nowhere.

2. Methuselah

Methuselah is a tree often claimed to be one of the world's oldest non-clonal organism. It is estimated to be nearly 4,900 years old, residing in the White Mountains of California.

3. Antelope Canyon

4. Marieta Islands
