Working with your best friend is like nothing you've ever experienced before.

You might think your friendship has seen it all, and you might think your friendship won’t change because of it. However, until you actually get to work with your other half, you will never quite understand how much of a blessing (and a curse) it is to see their faces every day.

Here are 17 things that happen when you work with your best friend:

1. Your coworkers and managers will get you confused.

2. It is inevitable that you show up wearing the same outfits at least once a week (most likely at least the same shoes or color schemes most days).

3. Customers and coworkers both will think you’re related.

4. If the other isn’t working, people will ask where she is and you will be able to look up her exact location and tell them down to the coordinates.

5. You will constantly wonder when you’ll get fired because the two of you definitely get distracted easier when you’re together.

6. But at the same time, you’ll work so well together you can finish both of your assigned duties in record time.

7. You share side work, opening work, and closing work.

8. Carpooling.

9. Even when you don’t carpool, you hop in each other’s cars before your shift starts to prepare yourselves for what’s ahead.

10. You get to make light of difficult customers together.

11. If they’re coming in to work after you, you have a built in coffee delivery pal.

12. On that same note, you have someone who can bring you coffee when you’re running a little late, or just don’t want to get out of bed in time.

13. Your coworkers will probably hate working with the two of you together.

14. There will be a “pre-work” playlist you listen to before your shifts.

15. The two of you will think you’re bringing entertainment to your coworkers, when probably you’re just annoying everyone (Are we really not as funny as we think we are?)

16. The work inside jokes mix with the growing up inside jokes which mix with the regular inside jokes...really you just joke a lot.

And lastly,

17. You realize how great it is working with your best friend, and you wouldn't have it any other way.

Working with your best friend can really be the greatest experience (or the worst, depending on the day).

From my own experience, I can only say I am so thankful I get to see her on a regular basis, and we have only grown closer from working together. Although, I'm sure our coworkers don't have as many positives to say about us. (Sorry to everyone who has to work with us).

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
