Ah yes, Retail. I do not think anyone can say they truly understand working retail until they have done it themselves. Nothing sounds more fun than refolding clothes, dealing with impatient customers, and yelling at the kid playing with the line barrier. I can only imagine how Buddy the Elf would feel about this magical thing we call retail? I mean, only a giant elf in a green suit and yellow tights could find the entertainment in retail… right?

1. Greeting customers and asking them, "Can I help you with anything?"

2. When you're trusted to announce something over the intercom

3. Sizing a customer that obviously lies about their size

4. When a customer gives you attitude

5. When you hit your head trying to pick something up that a customer was too lazy to do themselves

6. When you hear about Santa's arrival to the mall

7. When you put all the clothing items in the store on the wrong display table or rack

8. When your boss tells you that you can go home

9. When the store starts stocking a new product you've never heard of

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here.
