Contrary to what Christina Aguilera may believe, words actually CAN bring you down.

After binge watching 13 Reasons Why, I came to the realization that without even knowing it, the things you do every day have such a huge impact on others lives. Even if you think that what you're saying is a joke, it may not come off that way to everyone. The smallest comment you make could be the straw that breaks the camel's back. Something could seem like no big deal to you, but feel horrible to someone else. Everything you say means a lot more than you think.

After watching this show, you realize that even just the way you once looked at someone could have ruined them, nevermind if you were mean to them or ended a friendship on bad terms. Just watch what you say or how you interact with people because even the strangers you see on the street could be dealing with issues that you have no idea about. Take a second and smile at a stranger or ask them how they're doing and genuinely want to know. The smallest act of kindness can change someone's entire life.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
