Peter's season is almost over, and next week, we get to see who wins Peter's heart... if anyone does. The verdict still seems to be out on that one since Chris Harrison has stated, "Peter doesn't even know how his season ends."
But anyway, I have to say this was an interesting group of girls this season. All of them were unique in their own way, but like every season, I have my favorites. My favorite is usually never anyone else's favorite, but I'm okay with that.
Mykenna Dorn has to be one of my favorite ladies on "The Bachelor" this season. I loved her dress when she walked out of the limo and I just thought she seemed so fun. Honestly, she is someone I would like to be friends with.
I thought she and Peter had a good connection. Besides that, I also really liked her style.
Now, as the season went on, people would make fun of her facial expressions, and I thought it was funny but also kind of harsh. I am someone who can never hide how I feel because of my facial expressions. I don't think I should hide how I feel, and I'm glad Mykenna didn't let her face becoming a meme affect her.
Mykenna cried on the season... a lot. But I mean, can we really blame her? People who aren't on "The Bachelor" are so quick to judge the girls who wear their hearts on their sleeves. Try being away from your family with no phones and watching a guy you fall in love with dating other girls. I can imagine it's not easy.
Mykenna and Kelsey were always talked about because they cried and showed real emotion. Just because we cry doesn't mean we're not strong women.
Mykenna's goodbye speech got a lot of heat because it sounds rehearsed. I think it was pretty empowering. Mykenna knew her worth and wanted to remind herself. She went through a lot, especially with the whole Tammy situation, which I think she handled with grace.
I believe her speech was inspiring.
Mykenna was a breath of fresh air this season. She showed her heart and her dance moves, and she showed us that you can have fun.
She also showed us not to let anyone tear you down. If showing your emotions is "fake" and "childish," then I guess we're all fake and childish.
