Wofford Parking As Told By 'Bridesmaids'

Even the actresses of Bridesmaids understand the aggravation of parking at Wofford.

Wofford Parking As Told By 'Bridesmaids'

As Wofford students, we know that the weeks leading up to finals are some of the most stressful weeks of our lives. As if we didn't have enough stress in our lives already, our parking situation adds another great amount of stress every time we return back to campus to look for a parking spot (probably after those late night Cook Out runs). So in light of the horrible parking situation, here is Wofford Parking, as told by Bridesmaids.

1. When you and your friends pull into the parking lot, confident that you're going to find a spot.

2. But, you quickly realize that they've taken yet another parking lot away because of another construction site.

3. So, you decide to park illegally anyways. "I mean, it's late. If I get a ticket, I'll just tell campus safety I was scared to walk alone at night. They will understand, right??" Wrong.

4. So you pay the ticket and next time, you know that you must circle the parking lot until you find an open spot. You see one and quickly speed to make it. But, your friend also pulls into the lot and you fight it to see who will get there first. She wins.

5. But then, your friend Carol thinks she sees another parking spot right up the lane. You rush as quickly as you can just to find that it's a SMART CAR hidden in a big spot.

8. So then, you sit and contemplate your options. You know this means you're probably going to have to park on the street and walk at least 5 minutes back to your dorm.

9. And after all this, the real MVP on the front row backs up, leaving a parking spot free. You pull in, park your car, and do a victory dance.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
