Going To A Wizard's Game For Less

A discussion of my experience getting into a game for under $20

Going To A Wizard's Game For Less

Recently, I was at a Wizards game and wasn't able to locate seats in a club level or lower level section for a reasonable price. The prices were very high with average prices of well over $100. Therefore, I decided to give the 400 level or upper level a try for this game. Most people refer to these unwanted sections as "nosebleed sections" because of how high they are. However, there are some benefits of sitting far up.

First off the price is substantially lower. For a section that is on the club level which is one section down can cost up to $50-$100 more. In addition, the seats in the 400 level can be one of the first rows and the club level can be a back row. Therefore, there wouldn't be a huge difference between the two. Definitely not enough to justify a huge price increase. For some games the seats can sell for less than $30 each which makes for an affordable night out.

The sections are usually empty during bad games which makes for a very comfortable viewing experience. You can spread out. You most likely won't have people on both sides of you. You can put you feet out if there is no one in front of you. Overall, it is much more enjoyable if it is not very crowded. From experience, the least crowded sections are upper level sections.

The view from the upper level sections is always a deciding factor. Most people think that the view from these sections is awful. However, this is rarely the case. The sections that are closer to the center of the court are great values because they offer a full view of the court with an ability to see each play unfold with very little distractions or obstructions. While many people might come to see the players up close, this is something that is only possible from the lower level. Both the club level and the upper level are great for watching the game with no obstructions.

Now that you know about the seats that are the best value at a Basketball arena, it's time for you to head over to the Verizon Center for a Washington Wizards game. The Golden State Warriors are coming to town in just a few short weeks and this game will be a matchup that will be worth watching.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
