If you're one of those people who seem to pick up a common cold almost every winter or any cold vacation then these tips are for you!

Sanitize Yourself and Surroundings

Sounds funny but what I mean is be very thorough about washing your hands all the time. Many people neglect to really wash their hands after using the bathroom or sneezing etc. Keep some sanitizer with you all the time to help kill germs when you're out and about. Overall take care of yourself, shower every day, brush your teeth, fuel yourself with good foods and you shouldn't have to worry too much about getting sick.

Boost Your Immune System

My go-to immune booster is green tea! It's so good for your health and always leaves me feeling rejuvenated. Whenever I am feeling like something is about to come on I go for Airborne tablets or gummy's which are essentially "Vitamin C" tablets that boost your immune system as well. You can also find Vitamin C in may citrus fruits like grapefruit, oranges, or my favorite clementines.

Hydrate

Drink lots of water especially when traveling. Water is the only essential thing our body needs to function and sometimes when we travel we forget to keep track of it. Keep a disposable water bottle with you so you always remember to drink!

Take a Break

If your one of those people that seem to never stop moving and have a busy holiday/winter season it's important to slow down and take a break. The weather change can often cause our bodies to need adjustment time and if we are constantly running around we aren't giving our bodies the rest they need to keep our immune system up.

Herbal Beverages

As I mentioned above, my go-to immune booster is green tea, but there are many other herbal teas that are great for your health! Picking up a warm tea on a cold day might just be what you need. Chamomile tea is great for calming and sleep benefits, peppermint tea supports digestion and acts as an antioxidant, and Sage tea which is shown to benefit cognitive function are just a few teas to give a try this winter season!

Maintain Exercise

Along with nutrition maintaining exercise during the winter is so important it's the best way to keep our body well. People often want to skip the gym due to cold or being busy with what this season brings but it's the best time to get our bodies into shape especially if your going to want to look good/feel good for the summer. I'm sure you've heard this and it's true that summer bodies are made in the winter!

Overall listen to your body and fuel it with things that benefit it! Don't be a victim of the common winter cold!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
