Winter Break As Told By The Office

It is that magical time of the year when college students go home for the holidays. Finals are done and for the most part, the stress of school is behind these college students. So now they migrate home for a month and relax with family and friends until the fateful day when the spring semester rolls around and they go back to being sleep-deprived, caffeine-addicted, stress monsters. This is when college students come home as told by The Office.

1. The last final is done and they are packing to go home.

2. Going home to food that isn't from a dining hall.

3. Seeing your friends from other colleges.

4. When a million family members asking about what you are doing with your life.

5. Eating food that isn't from delivery or a dining hall.

6. Finding out that you still have a curfew.

7. Being able to catch up on all your shows that you missed when you were stressed.

8. Sleeping a typical amount for a human being.

9. Working because the fall semester cleaned out your bank account.

10. Missing all of your college friends.

11. Looking at your book list for next semester.

12. Going back to school for the spring semester

As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.
