Gene Wilder was the iconic Willy Wonka in "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory." This wasn't his only famous movie, but it is the one that most millennials dreamed about. A world full of chocolate; the water, the walls, the floor, and even some golden eggs. But there are some moments in "Willy Wonka" where Gene Wilder really spoke on a deeper level to the youth and adult population. Below are the six times throughout the movie where Gene Wilder touched our hearts and made us think a little bit deeper.

1. He reminded us that our imagination will drive us closer to achieving our wildest dreams.

2. He reminded us that we can easily change the world.

3. "Willy Wonka: And Charlie, don’t forget what happened to the man who suddenly got everything he’d ever wished for.
Charlie: What happened?
Willy Wonka: He lived happily ever after."

4. It's okay to be crazy and think outside the box.

5. He reminded us to laugh and never take ourselves too seriously.

6. Finally, just keep wishing.

Rest in Peace Gene Wilder and thank you for giving us youngsters a taste of a world so sweet.
