It's no secret that fall is the go-to season for pretty much everyone. The changing of the leaves, the bonfires, the pumpkin spice, the cold breeze (or at least the cold breeze should be here...) and, of course, Halloween! It's all just so darn great. For me, fall is the most wonderful time of the year (you're welcome for getting that song stuck in your head — if I'm going down, I'm taking you all with me.)
In my opinion, the two best places to visit in Fall if you live in "The Land" (formally known as Cleveland) are Downtown Willoughby and Patterson's Fruit Farm. This past Monday, I went on a little fall vacation with my one of my best friends, Amy, a fellow Odyssey creator (check her out — she is wicked talented with the pen, paper and brain!) Our first stop was Ballantine, a steak and sushi house off of Erie Street in Willoughby. Let me tell you something real quick: if you have not gone there, please, go. Not only is the food and service amazing, but the décor is fantastic and it is a great place to go for a night out. (See below for a photo of their Halloween decorations.)
After what I deemed a very successful food-venture, we made our way to Arabica Coffee House, down the street and across the way. Arabica is a wonderful, quaint coffee house that makes you feel like you just transported to another universe where there is always fresh coffee and no worries. Sitting inside and sipping on some hot coffee or cocoa with the red and golden leaves outside the window a solid 10/10, definitely recommended. (If you need a drink recommendation, I drink the café mocha with a shot of vanilla.)
See Arabica tucked away in the bottom right corner.
With an accomplished food and coffee run, we were on our way to the next destination, Patterson's! A fruit farm filled with fresh apples and pumpkins and beautiful golden hills lined with trees, Patterson's sounds like it was made solely for Autumn itself. The ride there was no less captivating.
It's here where we strolled through the woods, snapping photos of essentially everything, as it was all so breathtaking. Enjoy some of my favorite hand picked shots from that day!
That's my homie, Amy.
Flannels are obviously dress code.
Hope you enjoyed, get out there and experience Autumn before it slips away, it's only here for a little longer!
