Sibling duo Elliot and Natalie Bergman, also known as Wild Belle are drawing fans in with their newest album release, Dreamland. The two siblings came from a musical family and started playing together while growing up in Chicago.

Starting in 2013, Wild Belle began to release music. Beginning with the first single 'Keep You', and then following up with the complete album titled 'Isles'. The two never thought about signing with a big label because they felt they'd have to choose a type of sound, which is what they didn't want. " The music we make is sort of unusual and definitely not something that would be coming from the main stream", Elliot shared with viewers during an interview with 'Don't Let The Label Label You'. The original plan was to release the album under Elliot's label until they found out Columbia Records was wanting to sign them. The two believed Columbia Records was "a legacy", which is why they considered them over anyone else.

After working with the label, Wild Belle released their second album, 'Dreamland', on April 15, 2016. Work on this album started in early 2014. With a mixture of synthesizers, saxophones, kalimbas, and string arrangements, they released the first song to the album, 'Mississippi River'. It was the first track to come together in the studio as it was sparked by " a moment of musical serendipity". After completing several tracks at home in Chicago, the siblings eventually met each other in Venice, California to complete the album. The siblings were able to create new, interesting sounds together that some audiences would label "not together" or "out-of-tune". "When I had my place in Venice, Elliot would wake up earlier than I would and start making dope beats (...). One day he made this ridiculous song, 'The One That Got Away', and the beat and underlying track were so exciting that it didn't take very long to write. Our friends came over and were jumping on the tabletops, dancing, getting naked because they loved the song so much", Natalie shared with Billions in an interview.

Since their album releases, Wild Belle songs have been used in shows and films. Their song "Shine" was used in not only a movie titled The Way, Way Back but also episode 13 of Grey's Anatomy in season nine. Another song titled, 'Keep You', was played in the movie Pitch Perfect. The siblings have also collaborated with other artists which led them to one of their most popular songs, "Be Together". This song was worked on with Diplo and DJEMBA DJEMBA, and is the first track to Major Lazer's third album Peace Is The Mission.

In 2015 Wild Belle preformed at Chicago's yearly music festival, Lollapaloza. Since then the sibling duo has been to various music festivals as well as their current tour with Band of Horses. With 31.6K followers on Instagram and 17K followers on Twitter the Wild Belle name is beginning to grow with their unique sound and style.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies.
