You all know that I am a Christian. What you may not know is that I was a witch for 15 years before accepting Christ. What I mean by a "witch" is a believer in the Wiccan traditions. Wicca came over from England when the colonists did. The original witch at Salem was most likely a high priestess in her coven. A coven is a group of witches who meet for festivals. The festivals are usually celebrated in very adultlike ways that would not be appropriate to describe. The most I can say is that lots of debauchery and alcohol are used.

Wiccans or witches believe in many and all gods. the coven usually decides on one male and one female god. The one I was in worshiped Eros, the god of lust and love (male), and Aphrodite, the female goddess of lust and love. We would offer incense and other things to them and in turn, they might commune with us and give us knowledge. It was never a guarantee but I never saw it fail.

I bet you're thinking "This guy can't be a Christian." Well, I am and I'm rather firm in my faith. I pray continually and read my bible regularly. We cannot determine the condition of a man's heart, only God can. This was short but its all I have to say. see ya next week.
