Why Your Significant Other Needs To Be A Dog Lover

There are many factors to consider when finding a significant other. Although you cannot control who you end up with, one quality is essential: must love dogs.

1. Loyalty

No one understands loyalty like dogs do. If your significant other understands the committed relationship you have with your dog, they will undoubtedly be just as committed to you.

2. Dogs are an investment

Do dogs cost a ridiculous amount of money? Yes. Are they worth every penny? Of course. They may pull their ACLs (twice), but a dog's unconditional love is truly priceless. Plus, the cone of shame is pretty darn cute.

3. "Sleeps with dogs" is reality

We can pretend it won't happen, but the lonely whining from the downstairs crate will soon convince us otherwise.

4. They won't get annoyed with your dog voice

The excitement when you see any dog, especially your own, evokes Is there any other way to talk to a dog? If they can't handle this voice, they gotta go.

5. They will willingly watch dog videos

The internet is (thankfully) full of dog videos, and there is much joy to be found in watching the daily dog post on instagram over (and over and over) with the one you love.

6. Leaving parties early to let the dogs out is a given

I mean, priorities. If the dogs have been alone all day and desperately need their kibble dinner, your friends will understand an early departure.

7. They'll understand...

when you're more excited to come home to the dog than to them.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
