I would rather pay for supplements that make me feel great now, rather than paying for medical bills because I didn't make my health a priority.

Here's the thing people: I work for an AWESOME health & wellness company called Plexus Worldwide. Before joining as an Ambassador last April, I had never taken supplements before. Now looking back, it was crazy that I hadn't taken supplements in high school since I was an athlete.

To be honest, I wish someone would have talked to me about the importance of supplements. I struggled with awful headaches (from a concussion I received while playing soccer), stomach issues, inflammation, and I was exhausted from participating in so many activities. I have never been a huge meat eater either, so I was lacking in nutrients and protein.

So here I am today, writing this in my last trimester of pregnancy. I haven't had water retention, stretch marks, or inflammation all thanks to some amazing products! When I talk to others about what these products can do for them, one major concern is the price. Our society is so materialistic that people cannot imagine paying $2-$3 per day on their health; on products created to make you feel better.

No, supplements are not shiny or admirable, but I guarantee people will see a difference in your mood and appearance when you invest in your health. It's strange that we spend $5+ on sugary, caffeinated drinks, unhealthy snacks, and energy drinks full of awful ingredients...things that we may adore, but these things don't do much for our bodies when it comes to wellness.

We spend our money on things that won't last: name brand purses, shoes, clothes, jewelry...and although these materialistic items may make you feel good for a short time period, they do nothing for you long-term. Nothing is wrong with having a cute wardrobe or splurging on yourself, but remember that when you invest in your body, you're investing in your future.
