Why You Should Try Listening to Positive Hits!
www.youtube.com

My morning routine starts by fighting to gravitate from my bed, once I do that I get dressed, eat breakfast, and head to school. As soon as I start my car I immediately turn my radio up and listen to Air1 Positive Hits--some how this magically makes my day immensely better! My favorites instantly come around; Chris Tomlin, Passion, Bethel Music, Hillsong United and Hillsong Young and Free. Of course, I sing along in my best morning voice--sorry if you have to listen to that! I make sure to get my daily spiritual breakfast before any activity including driving. I found that I will have a better day if I listen to positive hits whereas if I listen to classic rock or pop music my day will be full of attitude and I'll usually be in a spiteful manner. For those of us who all too often have "bad days" this may be a cure!

As I mentioned before I didn't always listen to positive hits in the morning I used to listen to classic rock or pop--my personal favorite is Drizzy Drake. However, I found that when I listened to those channels my day would normally be "bad". Usually I'd be crabby, upset, generally negative, and would by and large leave a bad vibe on all my friends. After rapping "Jumpman" on my way to school I would have a very cold and distant environment. This is obviously not a great shape to be in and I worked and researched ways to have a better attitude and found nothing that seemed to help me, until I turned my radio to 90.9FM-- which in OKC is Air1. Listening to Positive Hits on my way to school really changed me, in fact it completely changed my outlook on life and changed my outlook on my faith.

Listening to Air1 makes me feel good, it uplifts me, it makes me feel warm and in general I feel a renewed sense of freedom. I've found I am more committed to my faith and I find myself more attached to God. Am I saying stop listening to pop music or any music besides positive hits? Of course not. All I am saying is try listening to more positive hits in your day and see if it helps you at all. Anything that can change your attitude and outlook on life from negative to positive is always great! If something gets you closer to your faith and gets you to not only re-examine your faith but read your Bible more then by all means pursue that! My challenge for you readers this week is to turn that radio to 90.9 FM and see how your week goes, maybe you'll find you feel better or maybe nothing happens! I would love to hear how it goes for you--at least for me I found myself happier and more focused on faith!

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
