True crime has become increasingly popular these days with TV specials about the O.J. Simpson murder case and documentaries about the JonBenét Ramsey murder. If you are at all interested in the world of true crime than you should undoubtedly be listening to the hilarious podcast "My Favorite Murder". This podcast is run by Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark, who each week talk about a favorite murder of theirs and manage to inject a massive amount of humor into a dark subject matter. In addition to their regular episodes, they have also made mini episodes where they read hometown murders submitted by their fans. If this hasn't enticed you to become a murderino then continue reading even more reasons you should listen to the podcast.

1. You will receive expert advice on how to stay sexy and not get murdered

Each week Karen and Georgia try to help their listeners by giving them advice on how to not get murdered. Past advice includes staying out of the forest and pepper spraying first and asking questions later.

2. You will brush up on your geography skills.

Karen and Georgia are seriously lacking in the geography knowledge and will be the first ones to admit that. Their obliviousness as to which state is next to Kansas, for example, will have you in stitches.

3. You'll learn quickly if you're a Karen or a Georgia.

The two hosts are so different and you will surely identify with one. Even if you can't figure it out yourself, there's a quiz that can do it for you: https://www.buzzfeed.com/mvr30/mfm-fans-are-you-a-....

4. You will instantly be a apart of a community among fellow murderinos.

Fans of the podcast are known as murderinos. There is a Facebook group where all the murderinos can discuss various murders and theories. In fact there have even been meet ups for murderinos where the drinks listed above were served.

5. You will discover which type of crime that you are specifically interested in.

For example, Karen is a big fan of survival stories, where people survive absolutely insane circumstances while Georgia loves a good cold case or crime of passion. Everyone has a specific preference when it comes to crime.

6. You will appreciate their honest and open conversation about mental health.

Karen and Georgia both talk about their mental health on the podcast. They talk about the importance of therapy and make it apparent that people should be comfortable with their mental health.

7. You will actually learn about interesting crimes and the law.

Of course Karen and Georgia talk about the biggies like John Wayne Gacey and Ted Bundy, but they also cover lesser known murders and crimes like the Texas Eyeball Killer and the Somerton Man. In telling the stories of the crimes they actually educate you on some laws and their origins.

8. You will fall in love with Elvis.

Elvis is one of Georgia's two cats, but he really steals the show. After each episode he is asked if he wants a cookie and he always responds with an enthusiastic meow. He is truly a gift.

And with that I hope that you start listening to this amazing podcast. Stay sexy and don't get murdered.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
