Why You Should Lead Your Life With Positivity

Everyone in life has their ups and downs. It’s just the way life goes. Life is a roller coaster, and we are the riders. And even though sometimes we may feel like we want to get off that roller coaster and just give up, we can’t. Because if you are patience the pain leaves eventually, and the happiness returns. It just always does, that’s why life is such a beautiful gift from God. But, through it all, we must lead lives of positivity and optimism. By doing this, it keeps that beautiful outlook on life that each and every one of us should have. Bottom line we are blessed to be living this life we have been granted, and we must make the most of every moment we have.

Start every day with a positive thought and look on the bright side. It is so easy to be that negative person that just thinks their life is the worst and no one’s life could be any more terrible. But you know what? In every situation, good or bad, there are positives. These are the things that need to be focused on time after time to live a successful life. If all you do is complain and mope around about your challenges and hard times, what has your life become but a negative, hopeless one? Life has so much to offer and sometimes we do not know why things happen, but eventually everything makes sense because God has a plan for each and every one of us. We must be positive, to enjoy life and be as happy as much as possible. Choose to find the ups in every situation and push away the negativity. Smile and be hopeful for what is in store for you. Sometimes, at the moment it isn’t okay, and it feels like it may never be, but have hope because the pain will end. And with positivity the journey to the happier times will be much easier and quicker.

Sometimes, not going to lie, being positive is hard. Sometimes you just don’t want to because it’s easier to be negative and ungrateful for what you don’t have, instead of being thankful for what you do have. In those hard times, remember that though it may be tough to see a bright side, there is always one. And you must find it and embrace it with your whole being. Encourage others to see the good in the bad and to look up because negativity is not the way to solve problems or get better, and it only sets back your progress. So from this day forward choose the positive road and smile because you are living life to the fullest, even though sometimes it’s tough. Choose to help others be positive and believe in God’s plan for their life. God never puts you through anything you can’t handle, and He never leaves your side through it all. Trust in that and know that even though it may be hard sometimes to be positive it will turn your life upside and make all the difference.

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).
