Why You Should Give President-Elect Trump a Chance!

Donald Trump has done what all mainstream media outlets said he couldn't-- he beat the odds against him and beat Hillary Clinton who was almost certain to win the Presidency. In no way was Trump supposed to win but by some unknown force he is now going to be the forty-fifth President of the United States. As we all know by now many are mad, upset, and most are scared to death. Trump is what we would call a 'wildcard' meaning that he is sometimes unpredictable-- which can be challenging when we are now forced to trust in him. However, we (the American people) should give Trump a chance, I think Trump could either change the Nation positively or will be a lameduck-- meaning he won't do much as President. I think Trump is under not only more scrutiny with a Republican controlled House, Senate, and SCOTUS, but is very very restricted in what he will be able to do as President. Lets remember a majority of these Republicans are 'Establishment' Republicans and/or 'Never Trump' Republicans. Trump has changed drastically from the loud mouth loose cannon and has turned into a quite respectful and presidential leader! Just look at his Victory speech instead of screaming and yelling he was quiet and reserved and being very respectful. Lets keep in mind Trump has not been sworn in and as of right now Israel and Russia are opening themselves up to fixing a broken relationship Obama certainly didn't help with. Historically, the stock market falls after an election which of course happened with this election however-- this time it was different, the stock market jumped up and in fact higher than it has ever been! If this isn't a sign of the great things that could happen I don't know what is!

Of course we have to realize that we can't put all of our eggs into one basket and completely expect Trump or anybody to fix our problems. He certainly won't be able to erase the debt and I'd quite honestly be surprised if he could lower the debt significantly. In the end though, we have a system of 'checks and balances' that keeps the President from doing whatever he or she wants to do. Trump doesn't have it easy in fact for at least four years he will be fighting the toughest fight on Earth--politics. If you are genuinely scared of Trump's presidency I'm talking to you specifically, don't be, I promise Trump won't be able to do whatever he wants, he will have to go through an Estasblishment Republican House and Senate as well as SCOTUS. Most importantly, lets remember Trump won the election fair and square and we owe it to Trump to give him a chance to 'Make America Great Again'!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
