6 Reasons To Embrace Your 'Walk Of Shame'

There should be no shame in people knowing that you just got laid.

6 Reasons To Embrace Your 'Walk Of Shame'
The Cut

First of all, I don't understand why the term "walk of shame" is a thing. There should be no shame in people knowing that you just got laid, had a great time, and that you just happen to be wearing the same clothes you were the night before. But, that's just me, and I have no shame whatsoever. Plus, sex is a natural part of life, so I remain flabbergasted whenever I hear the term.

So here goes nothing.

1. Sex was bomb!

Juices were flowing, emotions were high, and you probably had a good few rounds. You had one night to let loose and have fun, and because of that, you should hold your head high.

2. Have no shame to your game!

You got your freak on because you are young, wild, and free. It is your body, and you can exercise it as you see fit. It is important that you have your Beyonce "Partition" moments while you strut to "Crazy In Love" as you make your way home.

Put some extra pep in your step, sway your hips a little, and when people stare at you, stare right back at them.

3. You just might have learned a thing or two.

Sex is fun and educational, so as you learned to please your partner for the night, you might have learned a thing or two for your next hookup or relationship.

4. Appearances are everything.

So what if you're wearing the same clothes you wore the night before? You own it (I would hope), so you can repeat it as much as you want. Also, enjoy an internal victory moment if you happen to not be wearing any underwear. It's your own little secret.

And if your hair and makeup are a bit unkempt, well... it shows that you had a fucking awesome night. You may even take a picture to remember the night. It will make a good story someday.

5. The "glow" is real.

There is nothing better than being somewhere after a wild night out, and you cannot help but remember all the things that you did. People will probably ask you why you are in such a good mood. It is up to your discretion if and what information you disclose to them.

6. Screw people and their opinions.

MAJOR KEY : Embrace your sexuality, sexiness, and sport that BIG FLASHING SCARLET LETTER proudly because your vagina is happy, even if it is just for a day. And if people start making snide comments tell them, "Hoe is life!" and ask them to stop policing your vagina.

You'll probably render them speechless. The middle finger works wonders too!

Lastly, life should be lived without regrets, and people should embark on as many adventures as possible because life's too short. So, if that adventure happens to be a man who you want to climb on one particular night, as long as there is consent, go for it. Sex should not be shameful!

Also, stay safe.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
