That's right, everyone! Simple Plan is back with a their new album (2015) "Taking One For the Team," and their songs are AMAZING! They have grown so much over the years, but even so, their older songs are still great! This band, among others, have been one of my favorites since I was young, and I can't wait to see them soon!

I listened to their whole album, and I can't say anything bad about it. Each song is different and unique in its own way. Some of the best songs, I believe, are Singing in the Rain, Opinion Overload, Everything Sucks, Boom, and Perfectly Perfect. The other songs are enjoyable and moving, such as I Dream About You, except a few can be personal (in a good way).

By listening to all of their songs together, I feel like the my younger self when I first heard their songs. I still feel moved by their songs today. Their music has helped me through a few hard times, and reminds me not to take life too seriously. They helped turn me from a pessimist to an optimist, which is why their music means so much to me. Hopefully for all of their fans too!

So, if you haven't heard of Simple Plan before, I recommend that you check them out and give their music a try. They are a pop-punk band and are super cool! Also, for the fans out there, check out the dates for their concerts, and hopefully some of you can make it to them!

Their tour starts this week on September 30th, and some are already sold out! So you better hurry and get your tickets!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.
