Odyssey, is not an online blog first and foremost. This is a place in which creators can express themselves and write about whatever they choose. This is a website where people can talk about any subject and have the chance to go viral. This is the place to create incredible things through text, this is the place you want to be writing. Here are multiple reasons you should write for Odyssey.

1. Express Yourself

This gives you the opportunity to express who you are. If you are someone who has multiple different passions, that's amazing, and you can express all of those passions each week when writing. This will give you a voice for all of those different things. The best part is there might be someone else out there with the same opinions and they can be reading and sharing what you are saying.

2. Growing Community

Odyssey is growing each and everyday with the amount of followers and attention it has created. This is an incredible opportunity because of the online views this company has received. It gets all of these views because of the writers. Once a story hits viral there isn't any turning back. Plus, it is the most incredible feeling when you hear people talking about your article and sharing it when they are across the country.

3. Career Opportunities

This is a fantastic resume builder for anyone. Employers love to see writing, especially if you are writing things that relate to what you want to do and your field of study, so do it. Get your foot in the door with a few fun articles about your field because that will truly impress anyone who is looking to hire you.

4. Utilizing Social Media

Odyssey articles are shared through social media, so by sharing you are utilizing and expressing yourself on social media in a unique and effective way. You hear all the time, "People your age need to learn what is not okay to put on their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram." Well, this is something to counter that and show we can use it the correct way and create positive reinforcement.

5. The Community

By writing for Odyssey, you will have the opportunity to work with a team who all are writing for different reasons, but share the same ultimate goal as you. You will have the chance to experience deadlines and how everyone helps each other to not only make the deadline, but with ideas. You will have the opportunity to write and have a group of people immediately supporting you.

This is your chance to get out there and express yourself. You never know what will come out of this, but there is never harm in trying. You can apply at https://theodysseyonline.com/apply.

Remember you never know until you try and this is a fantastic opportunity, I am blessed to be a part of.

I write for the Odyssey because it gives me the chance to express my opinions and passions in a way I feel extremely comfortable doing. I get to write for an organization that is growing rapidly and my articles have the chance to be seen by millions of people.

But if you want to hear more people besides me.

"I write for Odyssey because I love that I am given a platform much greater than my social media, to provide input on our ever changing world, thereby to influence my peers through the impact of words.
