I'm sure a majority of people have heard of this company in some way, shape or form. I was ecstatic when I heard about it because elephants are my favorite animal. Any time I went shopping I would search high and low for things with elephants on them. I suddenly didn't have to look far and there was a company that had all sorts of elephants. This is one company I will continue to buy from, simply for their amazing products but also for their great cause.

1. They donate 10% of all of their net profits to an organization called Save The Elephants.

If you're anything like me then you LOVE animals. Personally, my favorite animal is clearly elephants. With the increase of killing elephants for their ivory tusks, I'm more than willing to buy from a company that is working to help stop this inhumane nonsense. Below is the amount this company has successfully donated as of July 16th, 2016!

2. Their products are insanely cute whether it's a shirt or a water bottle.

You can never go wrong with new clothes, new phone cases, new baseball caps, new water bottles, etc. They have all sorts of different patterns and different colored shirts. They go from solid colors, to ombre, to acid wash, to tie-dye. They have short sleeves, long sleeves, tank tops, varsity jersey's and even sweatshirts/jackets.

3. They do the coolest contests.

Whether you follow them on Instagram, Twitter or Snapchat (I follow all), you know that they do contests all the time. The rules are always simple, such as commenting on their latest picture about why you deserve an Ivory Ella shirt. Yes, these contests usually involved a free shirt! Who doesn't love a free shirt?! Let alone one from Ivory Ella. The snapchat contests are sometimes scavenger hunts. If you're the lucky person who is in the area that they are doing the hunt, you have a chance of finding a free shirt too!

4. They've donated to other organizations other than Save The Elephants.

While the company focuses on the Save The Elephants organization, it doesn't stop them from donating to other good causes. The young entrepreneurs started this company only a little over a year ago, April 2015. The amount of success they have had is incredible and I'm proud that I've been a part of helping them reach the success with my purchases.

5. They come up with new designs specifically for the holidays.

I'm a big fan of Christmas myself and this previous Christmas they had a green shirt and the elephant wore a santa hat. How cute is that? Unfortunately, I wasn't quick enough to get one before my size sold out. On the Fourth of July they had a red, white and blue ombre shirt while the elephant wore an Uncle Sam top hat. They also had one where the elephant had a firework pattern in it.

6. Their shipping time is quicker than I expected.

Their standard shipping (which is $7.49) is 3-4 business days, which already seems like a decently short period of time. I want to say I received my shirt in 2 days, maybe 3. It was definitely not 4 days, but that could also do with where I live. My excitement continued to build as I kept checking the tracker for it.

7. The comfort and quality is worth the price.

The average price for a long sleeve is $31.99 and the average for a short sleeve is $28.99, so I can see where people might think it's bit pricey. As a broke college student, I would probably agree if I didn't already own one of these shirts. They are ridiculously comfortable to a point where I wanted to sleep in it and never take it off. They often have promotions where you can get a percentage off or even free shipping.

8. ANYONE can wear their clothing.

From yourself, to your mom, your aunt, your grandma, your cousins and even maybe your boyfriend! There are different styles and patterns that anyone could make them work. Who wouldn't want one of these comfortable tees?

9. They make great gifts.

If you're an avid Twitter user, like myself, you'll see many twitter accounts dropping "subtle" hints to their significant others for Ivory Ella products. If you don't know what the person would want, they have gift cards and the person can pick it out themselves! They could even be used to give as part of a "prom-posal."

10. Their packaging is the cutest.

My shirt came in a package like the photo below, which you can't tell me isn't cute. I do believe if you have a bigger order it comes in a box, I'm sure it's just as cute. The elephant on the package is the same one that's on the shirt and the ribbon the shirt is wrapped in, is crafty in my opinion.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
