Ever since I attended my first concert, I was in love! Ever since my first concert, I have attended 12 more concerts. I've experienced different venues, from a stadium where you can hardly see the stage to a tiny floor that holds about 100 people max and you can touch the lean and hold onto the stage. I have had the best times of my life at concerts and I recommend everyone to experience a big venue and a small venue and find out what you like! Whether it be with your family, friends, significant other, or by yourself, concerts have many benefits mentally, physically, and emotionally!

The Physical Benefits: I don't know about you but at concerts I am constantly jumping up and down, dancing, and moving my arms around. I always feel soar the day after as if worked out. From the jumping up and down and pretty much doing calf raises the whole time, I get a great workout on my legs. From the heat, and the crazy movements I get a great cardio workout. And waving my hands back and forth to the music, or fist pumping, and whatever else you like to do with your arms is an attribution to the fun 'workout' as well! Another physical benefit is that your blood is pumping because of the hours of adrenaline and excitement which is great for the heart!

The Social Benefits: Whether your socially awkward or not at all, concerts are great to interact and be around other people! It is good to join together with people who share a love for something with you. It's a good way to get out of that comfort zone and talk to new people and make new friends! My boyfriend and I met a girl in the line waiting to get into a concert and we made good friends with her and saw her at another concert a few months later! I still keep in touch with her to this day. You never know what people you will meet and what experiences you will have with them until you try!

The Mental/ Emotional Benefits: The most important reason to attend a concert is the metal health benefits. In a world where emotions run high and all kinds of mental illnesses are acknowledged, live music is great for you! The night where you can get away and share a passion for something with many people, with no hate, just enjoying a good performance. It's also a reason to be confident and dress up in your favorite outfit, or an outfit you wouldn't usually wear, do your makeup and do you hair! Listening to live music and enjoying watching your favorite band perform songs that have gotten your through tough times is great therapy! Feeling the floor boards or seats shake and run through your body from the instruments playing is a magical feeling!

Ever since I started attending concerts when I was 14 years old, life has been so much better! Some people think I'm crazy for attending multiple concerts a year, but hey, I don't mind spending my money on experiences, good music, along with physical, emotional, and mental benefits and neither should you! So get out there, even if it's just one concert a year, enjoy people, yourself, and get lost in the music.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
