As most of my summer articles will be, this is inspired by what I have done so far since starting summer break. I went to a Journey concert last week, and that coupled with the Springsteen concerts I have attended with my dad over the years has reminded me that there is a place in everyone's life for some good old rock and roll. The thing about rock concerts is that they are timeless. They are about sharing a love for music, and even though we as millennials can't relive the glory days of rock songs from the 80's like so many of the other audience members in the crowd at these classic rock concerts, we can appreciate the American culture that is rock and roll. I promise, there is nothing more fun than jamming to a song that everyone in the country knows, even if it is overplayed. Hearing a guitar solo live takes even "Don't Stop Believing" to an unimaginably cool new level. Here are some other things to consider before settling on a summer full of country concerts.
