After watching the last of the three presidential debates, I am more concerned than ever of what will happen if you become president. Personally, I would love for a woman to become POTUS, but just not you. The amount of corruption that follows you will not end if you do become president. It will just keep adding up. You have flip-flopped on so many issues that have arisen in recent years and not because you have a change of heart. You change your views because it means more power. Why else would you stay with a husband that admitted to having sexual relations with someone else? Why else would you stand by him after hearing countless stories of him sexually harassing women?
So, I have a few reasons why you don’t have my vote, as well as I’d imagine many others.
You lie, lie, lie. Let’s take for instance the email scandal. In 2014, you turned over around 30,000 work-related emails to the State Department from your private server; however, you also deleted several thousand emails as well because they were “personal.” You said on multiple occasions that you did not have any classified emails on your server; however, the FBI found otherwise. The investigation found that indeed there was classified information on an unclassified system. In fact, after reviewing the emails (of those you didn’t delete), the FBI found 113 of them contained classified information. Three of those had classification markers. My real question to you though is this: If you didn’t have anything to hide, why would you go to the lengths of deleting thousands of emails permanently before handing over your emails to the State Department? Many people, including Jason Chaffetz of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, believe that by you instructing lawyers to go through your emails, you really were wanting to destroy records having to do with a Congressional investigation of the Benghazi attack. As I hear scandal after scandal, there just become more questions. More questions that I should not have to ask a presidential nominee.
You say you support the Second Amendment but believe the Heller decision was wrongly decided in its interpretation of the amendment. The Heller decision was about the Washington DC gun ban, which prohibited the possession of an unlicensed firearm and the registration of handguns. The case was brought to the Supreme Court by Heller to defend his constitutional right to own and bear a firearm in his home after his application to register a handgun was rejected by the District. The court ruled in favor of Heller. You believe that they made the wrong decision; however, the decision upheld the individual right to bear arms for traditionally lawful purposes including self-defense in the home. Being able to protect oneself is directly in line with the Second Amendment. The case was not about toddlers with guns but was about whether a police officer had the right to own a firearm to defend his family in the home. How can you say the ruling was wrong yet still support the Second Amendment, especially since it was about the District taking away the right of a police officer to protect himself and his family?
Furthermore, you say you want to protect toddlers from guns, yet you think it’s okay for women to have late-term abortions. These abortions are also known as post-viability abortions, meaning after the baby can survive outside the womb. I researched the partial birth abortions after hearing your reasoning in the last debate, and it just absolutely breaks my heart. How can someone ever be okay with this? By 24 weeks, babies can survive outside the womb. (Some research even shows those at 22 weeks can survive in rare instances.) You are taking away an innocent baby’s right to live. I cannot support someone who stands for this.
The list goes on. You believe in having both a public and private view on things. The Clinton Foundation has been a concern for years. You have been in politics for decades yet haven’t really accomplished very much.
I’ve always been taught to look at one’s actions as a true judge of character, and all I’ve seen from you is dishonesty. As you talk to people during debates and rallies, I do not believe a word you say, and really why should I? You continue to lie and cover up your lies if you get caught. I’d like to think the POTUS isn’t like this. I’d like to think they stand for integrity, and because of this, you do not have my vote.
