Blair Waldorf: The queen of Constance, the Upper East Side, and so many hearts. Blair is someone that all women should aspire to be. She is always thinking and never lets her failures define her. Here are ten reasons why you need to live like Blair Cornelia Waldorf:

1. She knows what she wants in life.

When Blair sets her mind to something she accomplishes absolutely anything. Be it taking down the new girl at Constance or using her devious skills at NYU, she is unstoppable.

2. She is a leader.

She once said to her minions, "and once again the world has proven anything you can do I can do better." Blair knows that being a leader means having a certain a certain aura, one that many people are intimidated by.

3. She isn't just fashionable, she dresses for success.

Blair knows the importance of timeless, elegant fashion. She never fails to dress as a class act. How you present yourself is everything in this day and age. If only we could all afford her designer wardrobe...

4. She knows her own self-worth.

Despite her heart breaks and games with Chuck Bass, Blair always stays true to herself. She knows that she has the power to build an empire, and doesn't waste time in doing so.

5. At the end of the day, she has a firm grasp on reality.

Yes, she is rash and overdramatic, but aren't we all? Still, at the end of the day, she has experienced challenges just like the rest of us and is grateful for her life and the people in it.

6. She is successful.

Need to manage school, internship, and a job? If Blair Waldorf can go without her beauty sleep (she still looks flawless) and succeed in life, you can too. Ok, maybe you can't... let's face it sleep is important.

7. She is a good friend.

She isn't afraid to tell it like it is. She is the master of tough love and is always there to put wild Serena in her place. We all need a friend like Blair Waldorf.

8. She's independent.

When Blair Waldorf loves she loves with her whole heart. This can be dangerous, but it is admirable. And when things turn from bad to worse, she knows she can always rely on herself to heal and prosper.

9. And still has the best relationship of all time.

While she may be fiercely sure of who she is, she is not complete without the love of her life. Only the best men (ahem Chuck Bass) are worthy of women like Blair Waldorf. I mean who else can plan a gorgeous wedding in one day, and then create the absolutely adorable Henry Bass.

10. She has her problems.

Like each of us she has her own issues, but her solution methods are clearly genius. After all there are little problems some retail therapy cannot fix. But in actuality Blair uses her brain to solve the messes she manages become involved in. Smart girls for the win!

She will forever be the one and only Queen B.

8 Things I Realized After My First Semester In College

Actually, Kylie Jenner, 2018 is the year of realizing things.

The first semester of college is famous for being one of the most difficult transitions of one's young adult life. You're thrown into a completely new area where the majority of the people surrounding you are strangers in an academic environment that's much more challenging then what you've grown accustomed to for the past twelve years. On top of that, you probably share a room with another person (or even multiple people) on the lumpiest "mattress" you've ever slept on.

With this change comes a lot of questions: what do I want to major in? What am I passionate about? Is what I'm passionate about something I'm actually good at? Why does the bathroom smell like cranberry juice and vodka? What is that thing at the bottom of the shower drain?

6 Unrealistic Expectations Society Has For Young Adults

Don't let the thesaurus-inspired vocabularies in our résumés fool you. We're actually just big kids.

Well over four feet tall and 100 pounds in weight, many of us "young adults" of the world still consider ourselves children. Big, working, college-attending, beer-drinking children. We may live on our own, know how to cook noodles, and occasionally use a planner, but don't be fooled; the youthful tendencies that reside within us still make their way into our daily lives. From choosing to stay up until 3:00 a.m. playing video games on a school night to going out in 30 degree weather without a coat, we still make decisions that our parents and grandparents would shake their heads at in disappointment. So why are we expected to know exactly how to be a wise, professional, sensible adult? It's not that we're irresponsible (for the most part, anyway). It's that we are young, inexperienced, and still have the sought-after, enthusiastic mentality that we can do and be whatever we want, which has not yet been tarnished by the reality of the world. These are just a few of the unrealistic expectations that society has for young adults.
