Life is constantly moving.
It seems too well known to have a conversation that usually includes the sentence, “I am so busy,” or “I have no time.”
Truth is, there is simply never any time.
There is no time to go on your dream vacation, to go get coffee with the one friend you do not see very often, there is not even enough time to say “I love you” as you are rushing out the door.
There always seems like there is never enough time, until we realize all of the time we wasted at the end of our time.
In our society, it seems no one ever takes a moment to reflect on their lives.
That is why Thanksgiving is so important.
It is the only time of the year when we think about our lives and what we are thankful for.
It is the only time we use our vacation days to travel to see family that is far away, to text that distant friend to get coffee because you realize how much you guys need to catch up on, and the only time we will tell every single family member how grateful we are for them and how much we love them.
Why is it only this day that we take the time for these things?
The truth is there is never going to be enough time.
If you let there be, there will always be an excuse to use such as “I have work” or “I am running late.”
If you do not let yourself use these excuses you will be amazed of the life that you will
experience.
We all need to realize that we are alive, we need to be grateful for that, but we also need to ensure that we do not waste this gift that has been given to us.
Simply this life is too short and there are too many things that may cause for this timeline to become even shorter.
This is a command to you, the reader, to not waste all the days of your precious life working for the same company, to not avoid the opportunity to have quality time with your friends and family, and to not make excuses that there is not enough time in your life, even to say three little words.
This is a command to live your life.
Be truly grateful that you are alive.
We were given this life for a reason.
Go finally start living your life, and do not stop until you are happy.
