Nothing beats Wawa.

If you're from Pennsylvania, chances are that you've been involved in, or at least heard of, the Wawa versus Sheetz debate. Personally, I think everyone should side with Wawa, however, some people tend to disagree with me on that. Listed below will not be all the reasons, however will just be a couple reasons why I am, and always will be, an avid Wawa fan over Sheetz any day.

1. Because it's Wawa

It's simple, deep down we all know that Wawa is better than Sheetz. If you look at the cover photo to this article, Pope Francis obviously also enjoys Wawa.

2. Food/Beverage

As the below chart shows, Wawa is listed above Sheetz in three of the four categories. Sheetz may have more of a selection for food, howver, Wawa has a higher quality of food (which I agree with because I eat it almost every day).

3. Coffee

I'm a coffee drinker myself, so I prefer good coffee. I'd take Wawa's coffee over Sheetz's coffee any day. Plus, Wawa's free coffee day might be the greatest thing that's ever happened to me (I went to Wawa and got free coffee three times this year on free coffee day).

4. Mac and cheese

Wawa has the best mac and cheese. I, quite literally, ate Wawa's mac and cheese for dinner for at least five days straight. I'd stop on my way home and pick some up after work.

5. Design

Sheetz has too much red, while Wawa a nice subtle balance of red.

6. Hoagiefest

I don't care much for the idea of Sheetz's "subz" (what kind of a name for a sandwich is that, anyway??). I'd rather enjoy Wawa's hoagiefest because it's a pretty beautiful time of the year.

Now, of course there are plenty more reasons why I enjoy Wawa over Sheetz (like the fact that Wawa's order screens are simpler or the fact that Wawa has pretty great frozen beverages such as smoothies or frozen lemonades, etc.), however, I will not go into detail. Pretty much the only thing Sheetz has going for them is that their fries aren't terrible. However, my heart will forever belong to Wawa.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
