Many people sometimes reflect on what they could have done better to ensure their own rights of the world by measuring how far their personal beliefs and/or view of life will get them.

An individual’s life is determined by the decisions they make, which could be affected by their own morals. Values can dictate a person’s perception of actions through many influences that can balance the expectations of our goals. Values can shape mores because they can discipline our mindset to engage in different obstacles of their journey that could encourage them to create a moral. Morals are usually told from the message of a story of an individual’s life experience that molds a person into a matured person. Values can also help trace a person’s mores by enhancing their wisdom that can help them become matured, concrete thinkers. Many people who take advantage of their values, have a better chance of seeking something greater than success. Every moral will be different than the other because our perception could justify how we evaluate the limits of our values. Sometimes values could correct morals that could right or wrong decisions.

However morals can strongly impact a person’s value by neglecting what we already have instead of prevailing to take advantage of what it would be worth to them. Many people could live life regretting that they had done so much more to sustain the moments that took their breath away. Values is a privilege that is given or earned in return of what their life desires. Mores could also be the aftermath of what type of value a person will receive in conclusion to how they approach others. Morals could change the adaptation of a person’s folkway, which could highlight their values. Mores can represent the type of person, one will be based on the characteristics of their values. Society must aspire to doing great impact of the world by carrying on valuable traits that can help others fulfill their dream in a civilized manner. The setting of a situation is also part of mores because it could present what kind of thinker a person will be towards their values.

In order for values to adjust our mores, an individual must portray their legacy of their goals and figure out their own road map to achieve it. After all, values display the remarks of our mores through life decisions that we make.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week.
